Over the last four and a half years a group of thirsty volunteers who call themselves the Bolsover Alternative Committee , have raised and given to local charities over £22000 . They still have money in the bank looking for worthy causes so if you run an organisation and are looking for funds it may be worth giving us a call .

We raise the money any way we can but the bulk of our funds are
realised through three annual events . These being the Bolsover
Fun Run , the Charity Auction and the Christmas Panto .

Usually held in October or November
this really is a good days entertainment .
Starting at 2.0pm our landlord Kevin
doesn’t know when to stop and generally
waffles on entertaining the crowd with
his inane twiterins and daylight robbery
tactics until well into the dark hours .

The Bolsover Fun Run
has over the last three

All the local pubs take
part along with many
organisations and
voluntary groups .
We are always looking for runners,stewards
and sponsors so if you feel you can help and want to join in
the biggest fun day of the year why not give us a call .
