The Blue Bell Bolsover
You'll be a regular when you leave
Hello my name is Kev Maidens and for my sins I’m the
landlord of the Bell ( that’s what the pub is known as locally ).
The pub was built in the mid 1700’s and has real character .
Three hundred year old oak beams Support the original
wattle and daub ceilings . And no I was not there on the
opening night as some of my regulars have suggested .
. Six real ales are always on offer as well as a
selection of premium lagers and keg bitters.
The beer garden to the rear of the pub has the most
Spectacular panoramic view in Derbyshire ( and that
coming from a Yorkshire man is indeed praise )
We do not play loud music . You can rediscover the art of
conversation .
We do not tolerate bad language or loutish behaviour .
We cater for the more mature fun loving adults .
We are an ale house not a restaurant .
Oh and never mind beware of the dog -
IT’S THE LANDLORD WHO BITES .
